Wetherby – Boroughbridge, Saturday 4th December 2021, 40 miles

Arriving at the Shambles in good time, I met Glyn ( the Yorkshire spelling), who was thinking of joining the club.

Glyn (Ferguson to give him his full name) is from Leeds and for his sins knows Bob Johnson and Geoff Morgan. For his greater sins he has now met me. Joking apart I hope Glyn agrees to join the club especially as I have spelled his name correctly. Details on the website Glyn.

Moving on, Mike B was also there but shopping on a Saturday takes precedence.

As no one else came we set off braving the elements heading towards Knaresborough, Farnham and Bishop Monkton. From there to Boroughbridge with a cafe stop at Plenty. Bacon sandwich and an egg sandwich with coffee warmed our souls. We came back via the Dunsforths to Wetherby and pleased to report the weather behaved itself, rain, wind, cold and even sunshine.

Slightly shorter route as Glyn had a longer journey home.
Thoughtful me.
Thanks for the company Glyn, enjoyed the ride.
