Club Trip to Mallorca 2026
A dozen Wheelers had an excellent trip to Port de Pollença, Majorca, for a week at the end of April 2026. A few pictures from the trip can be seen below, and many more are in a gallery on the dedicated page.

Charity Ride 2025: Fundraising for Yorkshire Air Ambulance
Once again, Wetherby Wheelers are raised funds for Yorkshire Air Ambulance and this year we joined forces with Knaresborough Cycling Club. Members of the two clubs shared a ride to Masham, and stopped in Knaresborough, Ripon and Masham, supported by YAA volunteers to make collections in the busy Market Places. Of course, we were hoping that friends online would chip in. Any contribution is welcome towards this good cause. Many people do not realise that the Air Ambulances are supported completely and only by voluntary donations. Thank you for your contributions
Yorkshire Air Ambulance is a life-saving rapid response emergency service 365 days a year to 5 million people across 4 million acres of Yorkshire.
Why don’t you join us !?
Wetherby Wheelers are a friendly and sociable club that offers a wide range of experiences on your bike. One of our strengths is our mid-week daytime rides and with our Saturday and Sunday rides, we believe we have a full menu of varied rides that will meet all your needs for group riding. For those of you who are more experienced, we also offer time trialling, competing in local leagues.
With our experienced ride leaders, we believe we exploit to the full our privileged and unique location here in Wetherby. You can be sure of experiencing varied routes as we tour the country lanes of Yorkshire’s Dales, Wolds, North York Moors, and Vale of York! We have a strict policy that no one will be left behind so rest assured you will enjoy the camaraderie of group cycling.
We operate a try-before-you-buy policy, so if you want to make sure it’s what you want, target a ride and then go for it. For those less experienced riders, we suggest you try our Saturday rides. These are only half-day rides focused more on the social side first. On all our official rides the obligatory café stop is essential.
Cycling Cafes
There is a searchable useful map of cycling cafes with addresses, opening times and brief reviews at CyclingMaps.net. The website is handy for route planning and there is also an (Android) app available which is easier for searching while on the road.
There is also a Facebook page where you can search and suggest additions or amendments 😀
